Step 2: Review your retirement options with your Financial Broker or Advisor

Step 3: Gather the documentation that you need
This includes valid photo ID, proof of your PPS number, your bank account details and a recent bank statement. You'll be asked to upload a copy of these as part of your online retirement claim.
Step 4: Sign up or log in to my.newireland.ie
A simple way to view and manage all your policies in one place—and where you'll submit your retirement claim online. You can find out more at mynewireland.
Step 5: Start your retirement journey on mynewireland
Once you’ve signed in, select Make a Request and choose Retirement Claim. From here, you can update your details, select the policies you want to retire, confirm your bank details and upload your documents. You’ll also be asked to input your Financial Broker or Advisor’s email address.
Step 6: Submit your claim to your Financial Broker or Advisor
Once they have completed their part of your claim and sent you any relevant documents to sign via Docusign, they will then hand it over to the Customer Service team to process. Your Financial Broker or Advisor will support you through your next steps and provide advice when you need it.
Step 7: Keep up to date
You can check the status of your claim, including when it's been processed, under My Requests in your mynewireland account.
