Sean Casey - Managing Director Sean Casey was appointed Managing Director of New Ireland Assurance in January 2010. His previous positions included the roles of Finance Director and Appointed Actuary for the Company. He has extensive experience in the life and pensions industry, which has included membership of the Consultative Industry panel to the Financial Regulator, the Life Board of the Irish Insurance Federation and the Council of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland. He is currently Deputy President of the Irish Insurance Federation. Sean is a Chartered Director and Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland. back to top |  |
David Swanton - Product Management David Swanton joined New Ireland Assurance in 1977 and he has held a number of roles key to the growth of the business in the IT, Operations and Product Development areas. Dave Roberts - Actuarial/ Finance Dave Roberts was appointed Head of Actuarial/Finance in March 2010. Dave joined the Company in 1997 to work on the Product Development Team. Since then he has been responsible for the Risk Management Team and subsequently the Actuarial Finance Department. Prior to this, Dave spent 10 years working for Mercer Consulting in pensions and investments related roles. He is a qualified Actuary and holds an MBA from UCD. back to top |  |
Sinead Spain - Human Resources Sinead was appointed Head of HR for New Ireland in September 2010 having previously held the position as Head of HR for Bank of Ireland's Wealth Management division. Prior to this Sinead was HR Director at Bank of Ireland Asset Management responsible for both the international and domestic businesses. She joined BIAM in 1999 having previously worked for GE Capital and Woodchester Investments plc in various HR roles. Eugene Holland - Information Technology Eugene Holland was appointed Head of I.T. in June 2010. Prior to this appointment Eugene held a number of senior I.T. positions with Bank of Ireland including I.T. Business Partner Wealth Management, Director Bank of Ireland Asset Management and Director Bank of Ireland Securities Services. Prior to this, Eugene worked with Unisys both in Ireland and the U.K.. Eugene is a graduate of the University of Ulster, holding a BSc in I.T. and Data Processing. Paul Dalton - Legal and Compliance Paul Dalton was appointed Head of Legal and Compliance in October 2010 from Bank of Ireland Group Legal Services where he was Investments Business Partner. Prior to joining the Bank of Ireland in 2008, Paul was a member of the Law Library and previously worked with a number of domestic and international financial institutions including HSBC, J Rothschild International, Mercer and Canada Life.
