- I paid my policy premiums from a KBC/Ulster Bank account. I have recently moved banks and I want to update my policy with my new details. What do I do next?
You may have received a letter from us giving you details how to change your bank account details online. We’re sorry, the online option to update your bank account details is no longer available.

Important information:
Before updating your new bank details, please ensure:
- Your new bank account is active
- Your account is a SEPA bank account*
- Your New Ireland policy is active
- You currently pay premiums to your New Ireland policy
- The bank account is in the policy owner(s) name
All EU member states and the United Kingdom are SEPA members.
- I have more than one policy to update Bank account details on – what do I do?
If you have more than one policy please make sure to reference each policy number when contacting us about updating your bank account details.
- Do you accept Revolut or N26 bank accounts?
Yes, we can accept Revolut & N26 SEPA bank accounts.
- What happens if my next payment to New Ireland is due shortly?
We’d recommend that you wait until you’ve provided us with your new bank details before closing your KBC or Ulster Bank account.
- Will New Ireland make sure my data is secure?
