New Ireland recently commissioned research in conjunction with eumom to assess women’s attitudes and perceptions towards returning to work after a leave of absence with a view to understanding the challenges they are faced with. The findings of the research very clearly indicate that women find returning to work following maternity leave to be a nervous and anxious time.
Women returning to work survey

New Ireland is delighted to be partnering with Mum Talks to support women returning to work, either from maternity leave or a career break.
As an employer we are committed to understanding the challenges our colleagues experience and we are excited to take this step toward better enabling them to succeed in their careers. As a partner of the Return to Work with Confidence workshops, New Ireland is proud to support our customers and colleagues which we believe will better enable families and communities to thrive.
Return to Work with Confidence Workshops
Mum Talks was founded by two working mums who decided to host networking events for women. They are currently running a series of “Return to Work with Confidence” workshops, in partnership with New Ireland and hosted by Career Psychologist Sinead Brady, specifically aimed to support women returning to work following maternity leave or a career break. The next workshop takes place in September in House on Leeson Street. Details can be found on the Mum Talks website. New Ireland has arranged a partner discount for any Mums who wish to attend a workshop event. You can book your space on the Mum Talks website and simply click on ‘Enter Promotional Code’ when booking and input ‘NewIreland’ as the promotional code.
