How it works

Client initiates retirement claim on mynewireland

  • Clients logs into or registers on the mynewireland customer portal
  • Selects 'Retirement Claim Form'
  • Verifies their personal information, provides their bank account details, and uploads identification documentation
  • Nominates an Advisor to complete the claim
  • Reviews claim information and submits
  • Claim is digitally handed over to their chosen Advisor for completion

Advisor progresses claim through Broker Portal

  • Retirement claim case appears on Advisor’s Broker Portal
  • Reviews claim information client has submitted
  • Selects retirement plan(s) to be claimed
  • Completes questions related to claim and provides supporting information and documentation if needed
  • Selects retirement options - ARF, annuity or simple cash, along with tax free lump sum option
  • Reviews summary of claim and declaration is automatically generated via Docusign to client
  • Claim is auto-submitted after client signs the declaration via Docusign

ARF/annuity application

  • Seamless transition through integrated ARF application for New Ireland ARF
  • Existing application process for New Ireland annuity

Claim assessment and completion

  • Retirement claim is assessed by New Ireland Retirement Claims Team
  • Advisor receives notification of completion of claim or any additional requirements
  • Client can see status update on mynewireland that claim has been completed and receives relevant documentation
  • Funds transferred to the bank account nominated by client
  • Where relevant the remaining fund value is used to purchase the selected post retirement product(s)
