Q1 market performance – a tale of two halves
We have seen some very dramatic moves in global investment markets in the opening quarter of 2022. Rising inflation, expectations of higher interest rates and the war in Ukraine have all impacted asset prices over the quarter. While bond markets have struggled, global stock markets have proven resilient in Q1, with markets back to pre-Ukrainian war levels by the end of March.
