
Your clients may be impacted
If you have clients who bank with Ulster Bank or KBC, they will need to move to a new banking partner.
Any clients who currently pay their New Ireland policy premiums from a KBC or Ulster Bank account will need to update us with their new payment details to ensure we can continue to collect their premiums as normal.
Similarly, you may have clients who receive a regular payment from New Ireland into a KBC or Ulster Bank account (such as a monthly pension or a regular income protection payment). It’s important that they update their banking details with us to ensure they can continue to receive their payment.
New Ireland will be writing to customers who are currently banking with Ulster Bank or KBC over the coming weeks to remind them about this change and set out details on how they can update their payment details with us.
We would be grateful if you could also advise your clients about this important change to ensure they’re future ready. We’ll provide you with a list of your impacted clients over the coming weeks so that you can support them through this process.
