New Ireland is delighted to announce that we have signed to implement the “Code of Practice for Underwriting Mortgage Insurance for Cancer Survivors” published by Insurance Ireland on 7 June 2023.

Once implemented the Code will enhance the underwriting experience for eligible cancer survivors when applying for new mortgage protection cover.

The publishing of the Code and adoption by all key insurers demonstrates the commitment of Irish insurers to resolve issues raised by the public, Irish Cancer Society, and the media in advance or in place of any regulation.
