With effect from Tuesday 5th May 2020 we are adding a new question to our online application, asking the customer if they had any COVID-19 symptom or symptoms in the last 3 months. If a customer answers yes to that question they will be asked for details and the application will be referred to an underwriter for consideration. The likely outcome will be that we can consider their application as normal once they have been one month free of symptoms.
